The DESCHAL5 and 6 clients are HIGHLY optimized for
the Pentium and PentiumPro. For example, the Deschal5 client
manages 375 operations in 200 cpu cycles (dual pipeline).
The actual crunching code for the intel processors is written
in assembly, while the others are just compiler optimized.
That makes a very big difference.
