I got this program called net.medic somewhere. It does network
analysis etc., all of which is not very relevant. But it also does
cpu monitoring. When DESchall is running, the graph is pegged at
100% CPU utilization. Kinda makes me feel like I'm getting my
money's worth out of my processor.

The cute thing is that this program figures that 100% utilization is
a bad thing, and gives a warning every few minutes about
how my computer is overstressed! I had to turn the CPU
monitor off to use the damn thing.

Thats normal, now try it without Deschall running and see how
under utilized your CPU is.

Seeing as how you know with Deschall running your CPU is at
100% you really don't need the CPU monitor running.
