Yes. I've known for a while that DES is easily crackable by anyone with
money. When we finally do break this key, what will scare me the most is
that it was just a bunch of broke college students who were able to do it.
Now, of course, getting 2000 broke college students together to be able to
decrypt my e-mail to Mom is not going to be easy, but just the fact that
it's possible is going to make a lot of people lose faith in DES.
