You could explain that deschall runs on a virtual processor and doesn't
really use any cpu time at all! But the unix accounting doesn't know this
and reports the time used anyhow. You can prove this by running any cpu
benchmark program with deschall running and not running and compare the
results. Of course it is possible for the system to "appear" to be running
slow when its not in use because most screen savers run on the same virtual
processor that deschall uses.
