I was planning my own post once I got the PowerPC optimizations done, so
that we could say all sorts of evangelical pro-Mac things about how they
were blazing past those girlie-man Pentium Pro systems. :) If you want to
do a post now, go ahead, but since an RC5 effort has been heavily promoted
there you might want to try to make a case for why cracking DES is more
relevant than cracking RC5, or at least why the DESChall effort is a bigger
and better thing to be involved in than the RC5 effort that's been
mentioned. And be sure to point out how Solnet didn't bother with a
PowerMac client, since some of the people on that list will be willing to
support deschall out of pure spite.
