First off, thanks to everyone who worked on the NeXTStep black
client. Now all my machines can participate (well, except the
Amiga :-). It may only do 2.4GKeys a day (not quite keeping up
with the O2), but it seems happy to be contributing.
Second, any status on the bitslicing code for MIPS R10000? I saw
some discussion over the weekend, but it seems to have fallen
off. From the stats posted, it looks like about a 70% increase
in speed over the current version, which would be like adding 14
or 15 more NeXTs (and I don't even have to power them!)
