Linux bootdisk

I didn't pay attention to the messages about making the Linux bootdisk when
they went by earlier. Now that I've thought about it, I realize that there
are a few PC's here running Windows 3.1 that I could commandeer evenings and
weekends if I could boot and run Linux solely from a floppy. I have access to
a PC running Linux as it's sole OS.

If that's what the bootdisk was intended to do, would the author of the
instructions send me a copy? If that wasn't the intent, could such a floppy
be made?

Thanks
