While this is true, I don't see it as being a very strong deterrent.
I mean, I run DESCHALL on 3 machines w/ any sort of regularity. One is
my home PC, a K6-200 (~850kk/s), one is a sun SPARC20 (~550kk/s), and the
other is a 486/60 (~100kk/s). I've always been able to say that I could
remove the 486 w/o any effect on anything at all, and the other two aren't
exactly tearing through the keyspace. However, the way i
I'm using up IDLE CPU time. Why not run DESCHALL? Especially for PC
owners, there's no sense in buying some 2-3 thousand dollar machine and
then only utilizing about 5-10% of your CPU most of the time.
