For various reasons, on the web, we sometimes need more than one image to share the same space. A common way to do this is to rotate the image, so that each fetch of the page will grab a different image from the one before it.
rotbanner.pl is a program to manage image
rotation. Simply place all of the images you want in a
directory, edit rotbanner.pl so it knows what
directory you want to use, and use the following HTML:

On our site, we've chosen to use the space to highlight the importance of a browser-independent web and Open Source software that we use. Additionally, we have a few images there to draw attention to some of the hardware in use here.
